# ChargeMap (chargemap.buzz)

> ChargeMap tells a driver which Tesla Superchargers in the US and Canada their specific EV (brand, model, model year) can use, and whether they need a NACS-to-CCS1 adapter. Independent project by Alon Goren; not affiliated with Tesla or any car maker.

## How compatibility is decided
- Tesla vehicles: every Supercharger.
- Brand with a Tesla access agreement + native NACS port: every Supercharger open to non-Tesla EVs, no adapter.
- Brand with an agreement + CCS1 port: same sites with the maker-approved NACS-to-CCS1 DC adapter; Magic Dock sites need no adapter.
- Brand without an agreement, or announced but not live: Magic Dock sites only.
- CHAdeMO or no DC port: no Supercharger works.
- Older V2 hardware is Tesla-only. 800 V cars charge slowly at V3 (400 V) stalls; V4 cabinets fix that.
